Wardy
Wardy meets newcomers with a captcha, kills spam before anyone sees it, gives admins proper moderation tools — and turns an ordinary chat into a living community with its own economy and ratings.
About the project
Wardy grew out of a simple problem: Ukrainian Telegram communities grow faster than humans can moderate them. Spam bots, fake activity, toxicity and admin routine eat exactly the time that should go into the community itself.
So we built a bot that takes that routine over. It screens everyone who joins, removes spam automatically, keeps a record of every violation, and gives admins a control panel right inside Telegram — no separate websites, no complicated setup.
The project is built by a small Ukrainian team. The core feature set was and stays free for every community — it is paid for by those who can afford it, through voluntary contributions and subscriptions to extra features.
What Wardy does
Several years of development — the short version.
Captcha at the gate
Every join request is verified before the person reaches the chat. Grading happens on the server, so a bot cannot walk around it.
AI spam filter
A model scores how likely a message is spam and removes it automatically. It reacts to new schemes faster than stop-word lists can be updated.
Moderation and penalties
Bans, mutes, warnings, forbidden words and chat rules. The full violation history is stored, so an admin decision always rests on facts.
Roles and citizenship
A flexible permission system: owner, administrator, chat citizen. Citizenship requests, personal grants and restrictions for each member.
Gamification
Achievements, lotteries, duels and other mechanics that give people a reason to come back to the chat for more than information.
Community economy
Internal currencies, reputation and a transparent transaction ledger. A skin shop and Prime and Turbo subscriptions for those who want more.
Profiles and ratings
Quotes, member profiles, activity ratings, a referral programme and broadcasts for admins.
Mini App and FAQ
Settings, the shop and the help centre live in a Telegram Mini App — everything at hand, with no detour to external sites.
AI assistant in chat
Ask the model right in the chat, or have it explain a message, a voice note or an image — without leaving Telegram for another service.
Image generation
An image from a text prompt in one command. The processing queue runs in a separate service, so the chat never stalls.
Quote images
Any message turns into a designed image with reactions. The favourite way communities keep their own memes.
Custom commands
Members create their own roleplay commands — personal, per-chat or shared with everyone. The bot tracks what gets used and how often.
Welcome messages
Configurable greetings and farewells, so the chat does not stay silent when someone arrives or leaves.
Daily activities
Daily actions, skin drops and workouts that give people a reason to open the chat today rather than someday.
A clean chat
Automatic cleanup of service messages and channel reposts. The feed stays readable without anyone doing it by hand.
Statistics and reports
Activity tops, chat statistics and admin broadcasts. A member can report a message, and can also opt out of the statistics.
Team
A small Ukrainian team building a product for its own people.
Wardy has no investor and belongs to no studio. It is built by a group of people who run Telegram communities themselves and made the tool they were missing.
Product, backend, frontend, design and user support are shared inside the team — there is no separate sales or marketing department, so you will be writing directly to the people who build the bot.
Support the project
Wardy is free for communities, but it is not free for us.
Servers, queues, databases and AI models cost money every single day. We show no ads and sell no user data — the only funding this project has is voluntary contributions and subscriptions to extra features.
Your contribution is not a purchase. It supports a team that builds a Ukrainian product and keeps it available to every community.
